Using Blogs in the Classroom

Grade Level 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.  In this lesson of interactive learning, I plan on having the students interact with each other during school (class time) and at home while completing homework.  This blog will consist of Algebraic equations and math concepts for my 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classes.  The blog will act as a learning tool for interacting and discussing the more difficult problems, or second chance questions for completing assignments.  The title of the blog would be labeled for each grade and examples of the lesson would be given on each respective site.  For example, if we are working on solving Algebraic equations for my 7th grade class, an example would be put on the the blog with a breakdown of each step.  Then an example, would be given for practice which allows the students to interact and share different opinions of completing the example.
Ex.1)  2x + 7 = 13
Solve for "x"
2(x) + 7 = 10  or 2 (times, multiply a number) + 7 = 10
2(3) + 7 = 12

Students are learning even at home by showcasing their work to each other, interacting using technology.
